Council
Councillors of the Municipality of Velenje
The Council of the City of Velenje is the highest decision-making body of the local community. It consists of 33 councillors, elected in local elections and selected to the Council of the City of Velenje according to the criteria of the electoral results of the parties and their respective ballots. Councillors make decisions at regular monthly meetings within their competences and in the manner prescribed in the statute of the City of Velenje Council.
